Canadian Council of Cancer Registries (CCCR) and Canadian Partnership Against Cancer Through recommendations from the Canadian Council of Cancer Registries (CCCR) and in collaboration with the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer, Statistics Canada, provincial/territorial cancer registries (PTCRs) and international expert organizations, the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) has coordinated and supported a team of provincial/territorial-based Collaborative Stage (CS) trainers to develop Canadian-based CS training modules, deliver CS training both nationally and within their regions and act as a national and regional CS experts. PHAC and the CCCR are currently working with their partners to finalize a plan for assisting in the training of provincial/territorial cancer registrars on CSv2. A national CSv2 training session on four key sites (breast, lung, colorectal, prostate) is scheduled for March 2010 with further national and/or regional training, based on provincial/territorial needs, to be confirmed soon.
