| The Collaborative Staging Task Force formed in 1998 with a mission to develop a translation or method between the AJCC TNM staging system and the SEER Extent of Disease (EOD) and Summary Staging System. Such a translation would eliminate duplicate data collection by cancer reporting to clinical (facility-based) and epidemiologic (central) registries.
The Collaborative Staging web site serves as the main repository for CS-related items including publications, software, educational activities, etc., for cancer registrars and cancer registry software vendors
News: Announcements and Changes
Collaborative Staging: Stay on Top of the Latest Changes is an online education presentation available through the AJCC/CoC Web Conference Series. This program provides a basic understanding of the rationale behind the changes in CS Version 01.04.00, released October 31, 2007, effective for 2008 cases. It will guide participants through the changes to accommodate staging in the neoadjuvant therapy setting for many sites and will highlight many of the clarifications instituted to improve the accuracy of coding the various collaborative staging fields. This can be viewed any day of the week, at any time. This presentation provides NCRA approved 1 hour CE credit. Click here to register http://www.facs.org/cancer/coc/webconf2008.html.
